Action: The collective actions of the herbs in this compound are to promote healthy circulation to and within the prostate and to drain away congested tissue fluids; to soothe burning and irritation of the prostate and the urinary tract; anti-inflammatory; and mildly diuretic.

Uses: Indicated in the treatment of prostate gland maladies (both acute and chronic): infections of the prostate, and prostatitis (inflammation of the prostate); difficulty in passing urine and nocturnal dripping; prostatelcosis (ulceration of the prostate). Especially indicated in the enlarged prostate of benign prostatic hypertrophy (BPH). Also an excellent tonic for general maintenance of a healthy prostate.

Dose: Chronic or BPH: Two to three times per day, take 30 to 40 drops in water. Take 6 days per week for 2 to 6 months, depending on results.

Acute: Three to five times per day, take 30 to 40 drops in water.

Tonic: Two times per day, take 30 to 40 drops in water. Take 6 days per week for 2 to 4 weeks. Do this 1 or 2 times per year.

Adjunct Therapy: Red Clover * Stillingia Compound is suggested in chronic conditions of the prostate where there is congestion and swelling, sluggish lymphatics, and/or prostatorrhea (catarrhal discharge). Two to three times per day, take 20 to 40 drops. For best results take drops one-half hour before or after Healthy Prostate Tonic.

Echinacea Extract is indicated in infection and inflammation of the prostate. See Echinacea in this book for appropriate dosing.

Cautions: Prostate gland health problems should be treated under the supervision of a qualified healthcare practitioner. This is especially important in prostate conditions associated with pain, fever and abnormal discharge.
