  Common Name: Peppermint   Latin Name: Mentha piperita    Family Name: Lamiaceae    Constituents: menthol, menthone, menthyl acetate, 1,8- cineol, limonene, beta-pinene and beta-caryophyllene    Characteristics: Peppermint has distinct bright and deep greens leaves that smell spicy and cool.
