Scarab - Tarot & Tea

Hello, Moonbeams! The time has come now for more Tarot & Tea with your grateful guide, Jessika TuCrow. Today, I have chosen to work with the Animal Spirits Knowledge Cards, an oracle deck featuring the art of Susan Seddon-Boulet. I’ve drawn the Scarab, a symbol of regeneration. “To the Egyptians, the scarab, a type of beetle, symbolized the powers that governed celestial bodies; a great scarab was thought to roll the sun across the sky. This belief arose from the scarab’s habit of shaping a piece of ox dung into a ball, into which it laid its eggs, and rolling it about—generally from east to west. Scarablike jewels were often placed in tombs of dead relatives to give them the powder of the sun and to facilitate their resurrection.”

The Moonrise tea blend that reflects the energy of the Scarab is Fly Me High. Uplifting renewal is delivered to you through Oatstraw, Lemon Balm, Lemongrass, Nettle, Borage, Fo-ti, Orange peel, Ginger, Ginger, and Lavender. Nourishing and nutritive, Fly Me High is a fantastic tea to connect with the regenerative energy of the Scarab!

This beautiful oracle deck has some of the most gorgeous artwork of animal guides that could be found anywhere! Each of the 48 cards displays an original painting by Susan Seddon-Boulet on the front and offers a concise interpretation of the animal’s spiritual symbolism on the back. The mystical, shamanistic vibe of the images draws the reader in and provides an uncommon depth and richness. I recommend this deck for fans of Susan Seddon-Boulet’s art and anyone who works with animal medicine.
